Wow, enough with the corny titles already, Tina...

My brother's Christmas present. He's a big fan of oldies Star Trek, and his favorite character happens to be Spock, the emotionally-void vulcan. I'll admit, I like the corny oldies Star Trek, too... so this was fun to draw and paint. And it's great practice, because damnit, Hot Press paper is hard to work with.

soman'll be disappointed if i don't finish at least one or two pages of my desert-story children's book... argh. which means i really gotta bust my ass on it a little more than I've been doing (aka. i've been painting and drawing everything BUT that.)

mayerson or whoever you have didnt tell you to work over the break on portfolio stuff?

he wants us to but it's optional. but as you know, i've been continuing my pages anyway just because i want them done on time for portfolio review, so they can be as sweetly bad-ass as possible.

that's the way it should be! keep at it. you'll have better quality results than those who slack over the break.... ughhh I wish we had a longer break. : (
